Coasteering (Newquay)
Coasteering is a new developing sport that involves swimming, climbing and jumping along a section of coastline. Set Coasteer routes explore caves and gulleys; jump from sheer rock faces into deep water; boulder/traverse along sections of rock and play in the moving water around rocky features. Timing subject to tides - best coasteer is at high tide.
Restrictions:
• Must be able to swim at least 100 metres in open water.
• Need to be physically fit and have completed a medical questionnaire.
• Minimum age 10 years (under 16's must be accompanied by an adult)
What to Bring:
Old trainers or wetsuit boots suitable for wearing in the water and scrabbling on rocks
Sunscreen
Towel and swimsuit/shorts for under wetsuit.
